Cosy Pottery Hangout + dinner or beer

Come and join Cosy Pottery Hangout! We'll sit and chat, drink tea or beer :) and make pottery.  

FOR WHO: Everyone - whether you're a beginner or an experienced potter, we'll find something interesting to do together. Maybe you're dreaming of your own cup or you'd like to ornament a tile?  

COST: 250 DKK for first hour (including materials and firing + 100 kr. voucher for food or drinks from Storms Pakhus).

It's 150 kr per hour for following hours. If you decide to stay longer you can pay for additional time after the Hangout by Mobile Pay or cash.

DURATION: Flexible, you decide how long you want to stay, but please remember that you pay by hour. ( read below how does firing and following up on you piece works)  

MATERIALS: We work mostly with stoneware clay, variety of glazes, oxides. All the materials are included in the cost of the workshop. 

RESERVATIONS: To reserve a place you have to book a first hour of a Hangout for 250 DKK. This price include:

- first hour of Cosy Pottery Hangout and all the materials you need 

- 100 kr voucher that you can use in Storms Pakhus at any food booth or bar. You can come at pick up your vocher at any time before the workshop in FINO VINO in Storms Pakhus.

IMPORTANT! Workshop can happen according to three scenarios and it's up to you which one you choose: 

DESCRIPTION: 

Scenario 1 (if you want to come just once)

1. You come to make your piece.  

2. We fire it in a kiln in our workshop.  

3. You pick it up after around two weeks and later decorate it or paint yourself. Pottery that was once fired is hard and durable, but not waterproof, so it can be used only for decorative purposes!

 

Scenario 2  

1. You come to make your piece  

2. We fire it in a kiln in our workshop

3. You come again (earliest after around two weeks) and you glaze your piece. Please note that it counts as another hangout, so it cost 150 DKK per hour! 

4. We fire your glazed piece and it becomes a functional piece of pottery. (You can put liquids and foods in it, put it in the dishwasher etc.) You come and pick it up in the workshop whenever it's suitable for you. 

Scenario 3 

1. You come to make your piece  

2. We fire it in a kiln in our workshop 

3. We glaze it for you with a glaze of your choice for 75 DKK per piece. We fire your glazed piece and it becomes a functional piece of pottery. (You can put liquids and foods in it, put it in the dishwasher etc.)You come to pick up your piece once it's ready (normally after 3 weeks) 

You can choose when you want to follow up with your piece after we fire it, there's no rush.
